Become part of Cantatekaravaan
Cantatekaravaan depends on far more than musicians alone. Hosts, donors, volunteers and drivers - together we bring the music to the audience.
The network
Behind every concert is a network of people: a host offering a spare room, a driver moving instruments, a volunteer at the box office, a donor making it possible. Choose below how you would like to join in.

Host · 🛏️ 🛁 🍞
We can realise our concert series thanks to hospitable hosts who offer a spare room to our musicians. Would you like to join? By offering a room, you sponsor the musicians' stay and create a warm, welcoming environment. You receive, among other things, a free concert ticket and sometimes the chance to attend a rehearsal.
It is a special opportunity to become part of our network and enjoy good conversations and new friendships.

A host's story
The phone rings. "Could you host another violinist at the end of next month?" Anneke does not have to think long. The 76-year-old Zeeland resident has hosted Cantatekaravaan musicians for years. A few times each season, a musician stays at her home.
What once began as a practical place to stay grew into something much more valuable. Conversations start at the kitchen table - about music, of course, but just as often about life beyond it. Age turns out to matter surprisingly little.
On Sunday, Anneke sits in the audience herself. Sometimes with a mission: a forgotten charger, a scarf, a book. These are small things, but they are exactly where the charm of hosting lies.
