Our story

Cantatekaravaan

Cantatekaravaan brings cantatas to remarkable places in Zeeland. From monumental churches and estates to villages and historic country houses: wherever there is room for music and encounter, a concert becomes something close and immediate.

Cantatekaravaan is supported by Stichting Maria Magdalena Cantorij in Goes, a Dutch cultural public-benefit foundation. Musicians, volunteers, board members, host venues, friends and donors together form the network that makes this journey possible.

host or support

Cantatekaravaan is more than an ensemble. Behind every concert is a network of people who contribute in different ways: as listeners, hosts, volunteers, drivers, musician hosts, friends or donors.

They welcome musicians, help with transport, offer accommodation, provide a venue or make a gift possible. Together they help music, heritage and encounter reach ever new places.

Seen & heard

As an ambassador for the cantata

As an ambassador for the cantata in all its forms and styles, we bring cantatas to special places. That combination of musical heritage, young musicians and characterful venues - from churches to estates - attracted the attention of NPO Klassiek, Omroep Zeeland and regional media.

Press overview

Made possible by

Funds & partners

From estates to village squares, from churches to country houses. Wherever people make room for music and encounter, Cantatekaravaan can arrive. Together with venues, partners, funds, municipalities and friends, we bring the caravan to new listeners.

Friends, donors, volunteers and hosts also carry the work. Without them, Cantatekaravaan does not travel.
